Sophie Cass
Illustration
Sophie Cass is an illustrator who is based in the north east of England. Sophie’s practice revolves around the naked body and life drawing. Sophie’s work is completely up to the interpretation of the audience and how they feel about gazing upon a naked figure. Her work is designed for debate.
Lucy Cox

Lucy Cox is an illustrator based in the North East of England. Lucy’s creative practice is inspired by everyday life and memories from her childhood holidays. Her illustrations are focused around the home, adventures and history and are to be used in children’s book illustrations and product design.
Robin Daji
Illustration
Robin Daji is an illustrator based in York. His practice explores the relationship between memory and personal possessions.
Robin works predominantly within the medium of printmaking and artist’s books. An important aspect Robin’s practice is the ability to create work that can be handled by his audience.
Josh Fisher

My piece is called “City of Melodis” this piece is set in a futuristic dystopian world that I have designed where the rich are separated from the poor. I have created a few characters that live in this world from Robots, robot Samurai's and aliens all can be seen in my work. I wanted to design a world where the poorer people lived in dangerous terrain and the richer people lived high in the clouds using advanced technology.
Holly Goforth

Holly Goforth is an illustrator, creating work for children’s books, primarily using water colour paints. Her practise focusses on exploring characters, their personalities, and narratives, creating a magical and fantasy atmosphere. Holly’s illustrations are inspired by traditional fairy-tale imagery, incorporating historical elements such as clothing into her practise.

Teddy Griffiths is a third year illustration student at York St John University who focuses primarily on the art of storyboarding and has a passion for creating graphic novels. Inspired by monsters and folklore, the majority of Teddy’s work encompasses the idea of outsiders in society and how they are depicted by the groups they are excluded from.
Olivia Haines

Olivia Haines is an illustrator based in Greater Manchester. Inspired by the video games, movies and books she grew up with, her work finds its home in Gothic and High Fantasy. Olivia’s tonal black and white work generates atmospheric scenes and bold character design.
Isobel Lloyd-Owen

Isobel Lloyd-Owen’s main focus of work is developing comic scenes for original characters that come from online games like Dungeons and Dragons. She works in predominately pen and watercolour to achieve a more vibrant and detailed finish. As well as exploring these ideas in a digital format.
Abby Mitchell

Abby Mitchell’s work focuses on redesigning the covers for classic children’s books aimed at 9-12 year olds, such as, Goodnight Mister Tom and The Secret Garden. Her work is mainly traditional using a range of media such as watercolour, acrylic and coloured pens. She experiments with using texture and shapes.

Nico Morris is an illustrator and fiction writer based in West Yorkshire. Inspired by fantasy illustration and graphic novels, Nico’s practice as an illustrator encapsulates narrative, creating scenes that embody unspoken stories. Her work is character driven and often embodies themes of inclusivity, mental health awareness, and found families.

Samantha is an illustrator based in North Yorkshire. Samantha is inspired by her journey and the places she has been able to call home. She explores the beauty of the history and nature of these cities that she has found comfort in. Samantha finds freedom in surface pattern and creating designs that all can feel at ‘home’ by.
Emma Riley

Emma Riley is an illustrator who has gained a specific interest with special-effects makeup. She has always found character creation fascinating and enjoys transforming herself and others into something new. As a self-taught SFX makeup artist, she is constantly exploring new techniques and media for inspiration and experience
Emmie Schofield

Emmie is inspired by the nature around her and the way her outdoor memories make her feel. She enjoys playing around with texture and colour, usually with gouache and acrylic paints whilst sometimes going down the digital route. Her work is all about bringing the outdoors in and making people feel nostalgic and happy.
Amy Elena Thompson

Amy Elena Thompson is an illustrator and aspiring tattoo artist, exploring themes of horror and Uncanny through her practice. She works with a mix of both inks and digital mediums to create her graphic, illustrative work, which is mainly portraiture with a neither totally traditional, nor digital finish.
